FIRST SEMESTER DEADLINES
DEADLINES FOR GRADES K-8TH:

Can you believe that Friday, January 20, 2023 is the end of first semester? The week of January 23 is the one week mailing extension only. We strongly encourage you to mail all work by the 12th (or sooner) as it can take 5-7 business days to receive the work once it is mailed. Since the week of January 23 is a mailing extension only, this means that semester one on the student’s planner will close on January 20 and not be available after that date for review or completion of lessons. Students will not be able to submit assignments and assessments online after 10:00 pm on January 20. The teachers will not be accepting first semester work faxed or emailed in after 3:15 pm on January 20.
Failure to turn in the work by the end of the semester will result in final zeros being averaged into the grades in the grade book. These grades will then be reflected on the report card.
If your student is behind, the WCA staff encourages you to use Winter Break to catch up.
DEADLINES FOR GRADES 9-12TH:
Exam Schedule: Most final exams are scheduled during the week of January 9th. Depending upon your courses, you may have multiple exams on a particular day. If you would like to spread those out, you could work ahead in a few courses and take some exams early. All final exams need to be completed by 10:00 pm on Friday, January 20.
