STAFF SHOUTOUT

MRS. MUELLER

PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Mueller recently won the shooting star award. Every month, the last staff member awarded must choose the next month's award winner. Read below the reasons Mrs. Mueller is the shooting star for April 2023:

When I started thinking about this award and how it represents someone making the difference, there were a lot of factors that came to mind. I have the honor of awarding this shooting star to someone who not only makes the difference here at WCA, but makes a difference for me and so many others. I selected this person because I see on a daily basis how dedicated they are to their job; putting in countless hours, never shying away from a challenge, and always demonstrating resilience - even when circumstances are difficult.

This person’s honest, hard work is inspiring and motivates me to be better every day. This month’s award recipient is creative (displaying this through projects throughout the year), funny (even if a bit sarcastic), diligent and resilient (bouncing back from multiple hiccups throughout this school year), and of course lovable (even if she doesn’t appreciate hugs or Christmas songs as much as some of us). This person is not limited to just these four qualities, as there are so many amazing qualities that make her the way she is (we can overlook her distaste for Diet Coke).

My sincere thanks goes to Michelle for making WCA such a great place to work and being an exceptional role model. Congratulations!
