Pearson is pleased to announce the opening of the LiveTutor Program for Math, Science, Social Studies, English and Elementary students. LiveTutor is an online tutoring service staffed by certified teachers and tutors. If you have already completed your lesson and you are struggling with a concept, we’re here to help!
To access LiveTutor, follow these simple steps:

From your student home page, click the Links tab.

Click on the LiveTutor subject of your choice:

You will then enter a LiveTutor waiting room. When you enter the LiveTutor waiting room, locate the text box and type your:

Wait in the waiting room until a tutor is available. When a tutor is available, you will be transferred into the LiveTutor room and will hear a doorbell sound to let you know that you have entered the LiveTutor room.
LiveTutors can help you with specific problems or concepts from your lesson, but CANNOT help you with tests, quizzes, quick checks, discussions, or portfolios.

Please Note: Tutors stop admitting students for tutoring 20 minutes prior to the end time. Students may schedule up to 24 hours in advance for normal business hours.

TIME TO TALK
World Languages Time to Talk is an opportunity for students to interact with a native or fluent language speaker and their classmates throughout their language course.
World Languages Time to Talk is included in:

Elementary and Middle School Chinese I & II
-
High School Spanish I & II

To access World Language Time to Talk, follow these
simple steps:

Students access the queue from their Connexus Home Page in the LINKS tab.

The link takes students to the Pearson Online Classroom queue.

There, they submit the World Languages Time to Talk unit session they need to complete and wait for a tutor to transfer them to a Live Tutor LiveLesson® room to complete the session.

Tutors will engage students in various practice activities, including pronunciation and word recognition activities. After the session, the tutors will leave a grade for the World Languages Time to Talk assessment. Each assessment is scored on a 10 point scale and are worth ten percent of the overall course grade. Any missed World Languages Time to Talk assessment will receive a score of 0 points by the course teacher.
