MATH PEER TUTORING

Pearson is pleased to announce the opening of the Peer Tutor Program for Math 6, 7, and 8, Essential Algebra Readiness, Algebra Readiness, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry.

 

Peer Tutor is an online tutoring service staffed by highly qualified high school students who are experts in math. If you have already completed your lesson and you are struggling with a concept, we are here to help!

 

Peer Tutoring occurs  Monday to Thursday from 10:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. (CST). This window of time ensures that students across the country have the opportunity to be tutored. All students should come prepared with specific questions from their textbook. This will help tutors assist students in a more efficient manner. Please note: Peer Tutors can help you with specific problems or concepts from your lesson, but CANNOT help you with tests, quizzes, quick checks, discussions, or portfolios.

Students can attend at any time throughout the session, and their attendance will be recorded in the student’s Log which allows teachers to review the topics covered in the tutoring session.

 

This is a great opportunity for students to get additional support that they might need with math courses. We look forward to seeing your students at the tutor sessions!
