MRS. MUELLER'S MESSAGE
~FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL~
Can you believe 2021 is already coming to an end? It has been a year full of changes, but it is so exciting to see all the new things coming to WCA. The staff and I are looking forward to continuing the great changes into 2022.
The new year brings our second Head Count Day at the end of the first semester. Our second and last Head Count Day will be on Friday, January 7, 2021. The procedures will be the same as in September – just make sure your students are schooling on this day. Also, January 14 marks the end of first semester. Check out the December post for more details.
A WCA goal is to increase student’s sense of belonging and school community. We welcome feedback and encourage participation in the various WCA clubs, field trips, and other announcements. Remember that your teachers are available M-F from 8:15-3:15pm to answer emails, call and more. WCA wants to help all students succeed, so please don't hesitate to reach out when you need us!
I wanted to mention that the members of WCA’s National Honor Society are hosting a drive for the House of Hope in Green Bay to combat need within the homeless community. Please consider making a donation to help the fight against homelessness. Check out the details in the December post.
Finally, as a reminder, the office will be closing for Winter Break at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Don't forget to check out everything new in December's post - below the staff photo!
Together, we can make a difference and open the door to a world of possibilities for all of our students at Wisconsin Connections Academy.
