Jelly Bellies: Scientific Observation - VIRTUAL: December 1, 2021

Cost: Free

Suggested grade level: 4K-8th


Feeding America - Appleton: December 2, 2021

Cost: Free

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested. Please look at the volunteer requirements listed on the field trip message board.


Lambeau Field Stadium Tour and HOF - Green Bay: December 3, 2021

Cost: Student: $6 (normally 17-22)

Adult: $11 (normally 27) **WCA is supplementing the cost of this trip**

Suggested grade level: All grade levels


Holiday Safari - VIRTUAL: December 16, 2021

Cost: Free

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested.

Suggested grade level: 4K-8th


Holiday Extravaganza - Grand Chute: December 20, 2021

Cost: 1 non-perishable donation per participant for Fishes and Loaves, Inc

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested.

Suggested grade level: 4K-8th


Nordic Mountain Tubing - Wild Rose: January 6, 2022

Cost: $8 per participant (normally 17) *Spectators are free*

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested.

Suggested grade level: Anyone 42" and above.


Appleton Curling Club - Appleton: January 12, 2022

Cost: $5

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested before January 4th.


Bowling - Menasha: December 16, 2021

Cost: $5 (normally 10)

Registration: Please email Lisa Graf Miller if you are interested.

Suggested grade level: All grade levels

NEED TO KNOW:

 

WINTER BREAK: WCA will be closing at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 for Winter Break. Classes will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022. There will be virtual class held at regular times for that full week.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY - HOUSE OF HOPE: The members of WCA's National Honor Society are hosting a drive for the House of Hope in Green Bay. Learn more about how you can help here: HOUSE OF HOPE

 

SITE-BASED CLUBS: WCA is now offering site-based clubs, available only to WCA students. To learn more about the club offerings - check out the club page: CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

 

WINTER TESTING: You may recall that your students in grades 4K-3 took reading and math screeners in the fall. We will be having another round of screeners that will come up starting the week of Jan 3, 2022. Click here for more info: WINTER TESTING

VIRTUAL CLASSES: All WCA students are required to participate in virtual classes. Your child can access the VIRTUAL CLASS SCHEDULES in the student hub: Click their grade band - then the schedule can be found under "Helpful Links." SAVE YOUR MATH WORK!: In order to better assist your child in math, it is helpful for the teachers to view the daily math work. Therefore, all daily work will need to be submitted to the teacher at the end of each unit. If all the daily work is received, full credit will be awarded.
