HOUSE OF HOPE

In every 10,000 American citizens, did you know that at least 17 are homeless? 17 out of 10,000 might not sound like a very large quantity, but think of it this way: that means there are 17 people going hungry, 17 people without a place to call home, and 17 people who are in desperate need of YOUR help.

House of Hope is a non-profit organization that provides the care and stability that those 17 people need, not only around the country but right here in our community too. House of Hope has a location right here in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that helps those struggling to find the help they need. Specifically, House of Hope helps homeless families and teens, some of whom have been students at Wisconsin Connections Academy.

In light of the millions of people that struggle from homelessness each year, Wisconsin Connections Academy’s chapter of the National Honor Society is proud to announce that we are hosting a drive for the House of Hope in Green Bay.

  • Linked is an Amazon wish list full of smaller items that could bring joy to all, from kindergarten to adulthood. Any items purchased from this list will be personally delivered to the House of Hope facility in Green Bay on behalf of all WCA families.

  • If you are not comfortable using Amazon, any small denomination gift cards are appreciatively welcomed and will be a great help to people being cared for at the House of Hope. Gift cards should be $20 or less and targeted to Green Bay area businesses that kids and teens would appreciate.  Suggestions include Kwik Trip, Subway, McDonald’s, Amazon and Walmart
