NEED TO KNOW:
NO SCHOOL FOR SPRING BREAK: There will be no school from Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1 due to spring break. Classes will resume Monday, April 4. This means that the teachers will not be available and there will be no virtual classes on these days.
INTENT TO RETURN: Beginning March 2, 2022 enrolled families need to indicate their plans for next school year by completing the "Intent to Return" Dataview in the Pearson Online Classroom (Connexus). Please click the following link for more information on filling out the Intent to Return: ITR INSTRUCTIONS
THIRD QUARTER PROGRESS REPORTS: Friday, March 25 is the midpoint of the semester. Teachers will freeze the grade book at 8:00 am on Monday, April 4. They will then create a progress report which will be released by Friday, April 8. Once the progress report is released, you will see a link under the heading "Progress Reports" in the grade book.
SPRING STATE TESTING: State testing letters will be mailed with report cards the week of January 31. Please look for the colored paper for the information about your student's requirements. You can also access more information about the testing description HERE and a list of the testing dates/locations HERE.
SPRING PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES: Parents are reminded that WCA teachers will have extended hours on Tuesday, March 1 (3:30 – 7:00PM). The purpose of these hours is to offer Caretakers and Learning Coaches an opportunity to discuss the student's progress. Click HERE to sign up for conferences with your student's teacher.

TSHIRT SURVEY: WCA T-shirts will be handed out during in-person Spring testing at the testing sites as long as the form is filled out for the student. **Please fill out the form for each student** TSHIRT SURVEY
ACT - if you want to ensure receiving a shirt, please make sure the form is completed by March 4th.
All others - please have the form completed by March 11th.

OPEN ENROLLMENT: Do you know someone interesting in enrolling at WCA for the 2022-23 school year? Learn more about the open enrollment window here: OPEN ENROLLMENT
OPEN ENROLLMENT INFO SESSIONS: WCA will be hosting Open Enrollment Information Sessions during the months of January through April. Staff from WCA will be present at these meetings to discuss schooling in a virtual format, review the standards-based curriculum, look at the school’s on-line learning system, and answer questions.
