MIDYEAR i-READY ASSESSMENT: All students in grades 4-12 are required to take the iReady assessments, just as you had taken in the Fall. This is a district requirement that WCA students are required to participate in. Students in the primary grades are required to take this assessment as part of their winter screening and benchmarking. The iReady window is January 4-13. There will be no virtual classes on January 13 as this will be the dedicated proctored day for students to take the assessments if they had not already completed it. Reach out to your student's homeroom teacher with any questions.

WINTER TESTING: You may recall that your students in grades 4K-3 took reading and math screeners in the fall. We will be having another round of screeners that will come up starting the week of Jan 9, 2023. Click here for more info: WINTER TESTING

SITE-BASED CLUBS: WCA is now offering site-based clubs, available only to WCA students. To learn more about the club offerings - check out the club page: CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

VIRTUAL CLASSES: All WCA students are required to participate in virtual classes. Your child can access the VIRTUAL CLASS SCHEDULES in the student hub: Click their grade band - then the schedule can be found under "Helpful Links." For more information on virtual class attendance, please click: ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES

FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE: With flu season starting, let's remember to wash our hands!: HAND WASHING FAQ

SAVE YOUR MATH WORK!: In order to better assist your child in math, it is helpful for the teachers to view the daily math work. Therefore, all daily work will need to be submitted to the teacher at the end of each unit. If all the daily work is received, full credit will be awarded.
