WHO THEY ARE

JEREMIAH GRANT

10TH GRADE

“Hello, I’m Jeremiah, the twin of Micah Grant; I’m 16 and live in Oconomowoc. A little about myself is that I love to draw and animate! Being inspired by a wealth of animations and comics, I’ve grown to spend my time on these talents. Furthermore, reading and writing have been another close influence and liking of mine. As a result, I am currently writing and drawing a comic that I call Revision. This project has reached more than 80 pages! Other than that, I’ve also made 3 complete shorts for youtube, including the animation and sound design. These projects commonly take 10 hours or more, some taking as much time as 30 to 60 hours to complete, one being the most recent chapter in my comic. Aside from my hobbies, I’ve participated in eSports and Pioneers which includes fundraisers. Within eSports we managed to tie for third in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament. All this aside, I appreciate drawing the most and am very blessed to have this talent.”

MICAH GRANT

10TH GRADE

"Hello! My name is Micah Grant, a resident of Oconomowoc, WI. Currently, I am a 10th grader who belongs to a couple of clubs/groups in WCA and my church. Aside from these groups, my favorite hobbies include writing, drawing, and animating! Ever since I was young, I’ve been absorbed in other artists’ animations, series, and video games. This brought me to making my own original series, sketches, games, and animations. Nowadays, I spend most of my free time making digital and non-digital art. Most of this time is spent drawing my comic series or making animations for YouTube. Additionally, I like to plan out future chapters in my comic series by writing them out, something I enjoy almost as much as drawing. Other than my artistic side, I dedicate much of my time to working hard in school, clubs, and more. This includes being a member of eSports; being a junior leader in pioneers; and being a dedicated student in Wisconsin’s Connections Academy."

MICAH GRANT

6TH GRADE

Quinn won two regionals this year in his age group - he took all-around in gymnastics, and he won both the 1 meter and 3 meter springboard regionals in diving.  He went on to nationals, where he competed in 1 meter springboard, 3 meter springboard and platform, and he made it to finals in platform, where he ended up taking ninth.  As a result of winning regionals in gymnastics, he was invited to an invite-only gymnastics regional camp, where he trained with Olympic coaches.  He had a busy summer! He's now practicing gymnastics, diving and volleyball.  He also loves attending Wisconsin Connections Academy, which he started at last year, and last year was his best year of school, he says.
